Okay so here’s the deal. Mom folds towels. Like, a LOT. There’s stacking, fluffing, and this whole ritual where she lines them up like they’re auditioning for a spa commercial.

And me?
I unfold them.
All of them.

With flair. With purpose. With the kind of dramatic toss usually reserved for royalty dismissing poorly cooked stew.

I don’t do it out of malice. I do it because towels look better on the floor. More… usable. More alive. Have you ever seen a towel just sitting there, smug and rectangular? It’s unnatural.

Every time she folds, I un-fabric her efforts.
She gasps.
She says “James, WHY?”
She mutters something about “just trying to stay ahead of the laundry tsunami.”
Then she re-folds.
I wait.
Then I strike again.

Jack says I’m testing boundaries. Pookie says I’m “mildly feral.”
But I say I’m reclaiming textile freedom.

So… AITA?
